Welcome to the Calgary Local Immigrant Partnership
At Calgary Local Immigration Partnership (CLIP) we are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community for immigrants and newcomers in Calgary. By building strong connections within the community, we strive to enhance the quality of life for all immigrants, ensuring they feel supported and valued. A big part of our work is connecting government agencies, newcomer-serving organizations, and various community groups—including faith communities, schools, cultural societies, and social and recreational groups—to share ideas and practical approaches for addressing the unique needs of newcomers. Learn about our focus areas and the work we do.
Immigration matters
Immigration does Calgary a world of good. It expands our workforce, supports our tax base, drives innovation, and grows our economy. Virtually all parts of our economy including energy and technology benefit from the brain-gain and people-power that immigration provides.
